Janice L. Kovacik

52 year old, Janice L. Kovacik, of Wheatfield, passed away February 29, 2024.

On October 28, 1971, Janice was born in East Chicago, Indiana to John Sr. and Marian Allison Kovacik. Janice enjoyed being a homemaker, painting, being a fixer – upper, tinkering with things. She also, liked to cook.

Janice is survived by her daughter: Korri Elston, grandchildren: Nikko Elston and Dakota Elston, mother: Marian Kovacik, and siblings: John Kovacik Jr., Jacqueline McCumber, and Anntionette Marsee.

Janice was preceded in death by her father: John Kovacik Sr., grandmother: Mary Kovacik, and maternal grandparents: Ray and Hazel Allison.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on March 7, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Janice will take place at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Per Janice’s wishes cremation will follow.
