Jeff C. Schumacher

63 year old, Jeff C. Schumacher, of Wheatfield, passed away October 26, 2023, at his home with his loving family around him.

Jeff was born on October 9, 1960, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, to Earl Schumacher and Lola (Lambert) Schumacher-Nelson. He graduated from Jefferson High School. Jeff entered the U.S. Army, and became a Combat Medic. He them joined the National Guard. Jeff married the love of his life, Shirley Rolfson on September 22, 2012, in Lafayette, Indiana.

Jeff is survived by his wife: Shirley, son: William (Patty) Schumacher, many grandchildren, mother: Lola Nelson, and sister: Amy Ross.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father: Earl Schumacher.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

A Military Service will take place at the funeral home, at 5:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow led by Pastor Jeremy Eisle.

Interment in Abraham Lincoln Joliet National Cemetery at a later date.
