Jerry D Conley

75 year old, Jerry D. Conley Sr., passed away March 19, 2026.

On January 25, 1951, in Metropolis, Illinois, Jerry was born to Ronald and Hazel (Cole) Conley. He graduated from Valparaiso High School. Jerry worked as a Control Operator at Owen’s Corning Fiberglass, horseshoer, and Maintenance Supervisor at Indiana State Correctional Facility. He married the love of his life, Carol Fincham, on August 12, 1985, in Valparaiso, Indiana. He liked to play cards, especially Rummy. He loved riding horses and motorcycles.

Jerry is survived by his loving family: children: Heather (Willie) Wireman, Jerry Jr. (Misty) Conley, Joseph ‘Joe’ (Dee) Conley, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings: James (Jamie) Conley, Janice Conley, and Cathy (Corky) Trutko.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol, parents: Ronald and Hazel, and sister: Rhonda Young.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St., Wheatfield, IN 46392. Graveside services for Jerry will take place on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Kankakee Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter of the Donor’s Choice.
