Jerry McCallister Jr.

48 year old, Jerald McCallister Jr., of Schnieder/Lowell, Indiana passed away October 26, 2014.

On December 18, 1965 Jerald Jr. was born in Hammond, Indiana to Jerald and Elizabeth (Hepner) McCallister-Pote. Jerald graduated from Kankakee Valley High School. He worked as a factory worker at the Carbon plant.

Jerald McCallister Jr. is survived by his daughter: Christina McCallister, one grandchild, parents: Elizabeth Pote, step-father: Richard Pote, siblings: Anthony (Lynn) McCallister, Jane (Michael) Wilke, Patty (Albert H. Jr.) Clark, Rose McCallister, Alex (Tonya) McCallister.

Jerald was preceded in death by his father: Jerald McCallister and two sisters: Karen Morgan and Ruth Ann McCallister.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Jerald will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Joel Zuidema officiating. Interment will follow  at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

Per Jerald’s wishes cremation has taken place.
