JoAnn Walker

87 year old, JoAnn Jean Walker, of Rensselaer, passed away August 17, 2022.

On November 19, 1934, JoAnn was born to Jeryld and Velma (Williams) Stanton in Rensselaer, Indiana. She graduated from Wheatfield High School, and married the love of her life, Firman Walker on February 21, 1953. She loved gardening and growing flowers.

JoAnn is survived by her loving family: husband: Firman, sons: Arthur (Cynthia) Walker, David (Jody) Walker, Daniel Walker, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and sister: Karen Sue (Wayne) Tilton.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, and brother: Jerry Stanton.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God in Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for JoAnn will take place on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Doug Griffin officiating. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church for their picnic pavilion.
