John E Brown

57 year old, John E. Brown, of Wheatfield, passed away August 19, 2019.

John was born on February 19, 1962, to Elmer Brown & Cella (Allen) Brown-Collins in Greenup, Kentucky. John graduated from Kankakee Valley High School, class of 1982.  John married Tammy Jefferson on December 15, 1999, in Winamac, Indiana. John worked for Sealy Spring for 15 years. He loved hot rods, classic rock and Elvis’ music.

John is survived by his wife: Tammy, children: Kelli (Brian) Hurlbert, Amanda Woodruff, Mikey Brown, & Sami Brown, 12 grandchildren, and siblings: Cella (Calvin) Napier, Daisy Collins, Cozetta Brown, Jason (Becky) Brown, and Kenneth Collins.

John was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Sue Stump.

Services for John will take place at 4:00 p.m. on August 23, 2019 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana with Pastor Johnny Miller officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family following the service until 8:00 p.m.

Graveside services will take place Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.
