Josephine Beach

87 year old, Josephine Beach of Wheatfield, passed away April 27, 2011.

On August 15, 1923, Josephine was born to the late Wrel C. and Irene LaFern (nee: Baldwin) Emory in Georgetown, Illinois. She attended Calumet Township High School and Purdue University. Josephine was a Cosmetologist and a Nurse who retired in 1995. She married the late Kenneth W. Beach on September 26, 1941 in Gary, Indiana. Josephine was the mother of the late Lynda (nee: Beach) Suprenant-Parish She was a member of the Wheatfield Baptist Church.

Josephine is survived by grandson, Shawn T. Suprenant, great-grandchildren, Austin Suprenant, Brandon Suprenant, and Amber Suprenant.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; and daughter, Lynda.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Josephine will take place at the funeral home, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Gear officiating.

Per Josephine’s wishes cremation has taken place.
