Judy E. Summa

74 year old, ‘Judy’ E. Summa, of Kouts, passed away March 26, 2024.

On August 11, 1949, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Judy was born to Lloyd and Sarah (Reif) Miller. Judy enjoyed being a housewife. She also liked gardening, photography, and babysitting. She was involved with 4-H. Judy especially enjoyed bird watching, and doing ancestry. Her grandchildren were her favorites.

Judy is survived by her son: Gary Lee Summa (Shawn Risner), 4 grandchildren: Lindsay (Robert) Swartz, Robert (Kyrsten) Summa, Corey (Courtney) Summa, Rain Walker (Christopher Smith), 3 great-grandchildren: Addison, Brooklyn, Estella, mother: Sarah Miller, and siblings: Virginia ‘Jinny’ Pressel, John (Marleen) Miller, and Nola (Dale) Stewart.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband: Gary, father: Lloyd, daughter: Rhonda Walker, siblings: Shirley Riley, and Steve Miller.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life service at the Kouts American Legion 

on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. 

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Porter County 4-H Poultry Barn.
