69 year old, Karen Jean (Postma) Drenner passed away January 22, 2016, at her home.

On July 7, 1946, Karen was born in Valparaiso, Indiana to Howard and Marion (Jansen) Postma. Karen was a lifetime area resident, who graduated from DeMotte High School in 1965. She was a real estate agent, nurses’ aide, and a Crown Point Bus Driver throughout her working career. Karen and her daughter Crystal and friend Darlene DeVries are founders of Angels Wrapped in Love. She loved sewing and caring for others. She was a member of Crossview Worship Center in Rensselear, Indiana.

Karen is survived by her loving family, husband: Jerrold, daughter: Crystal, son: Steven (Tammy) Drenner, grandson: Ian Drenner.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Kenneth Postma.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, DeMotte. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. at the Church with Pastor Cowan, Pastor Newman, and Pastor Clark officiating. A small dinner fellowship will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
