Kay Ellen Black

50 year old, Kay Ellen Black, of Wheatfield passed away September 27, 2008.

On July 13, 1958, Kay Ellen was born to Kenneth and Marjorie (nee: Shumaker) Westphal in Michigan City, Indiana.

Kay married Tim Black on March 11, 2000. Kay worked as a cook and a nannie.

Kay is survived by her husband, Tim, daughters: Rita (nee: Blanch) & Edward McKee, and Julie (nee: Mayfield) & Jess Gourley, siblings: Kenny (Vicky) Westphal, Kathy (Jim) Milakovich, Sandra Miller, and Susan, and her faithful 4-legged companions Duke and Magic.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth & Marjorie and one sister, Karen Hausemann.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, September 28, 2008, and Monday, September 29, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Kay will be held at the Boersma Funeral Home, on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Family and Friends sharing memories of Kay Ellen Black.

Interment will take place at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
