Kelly S. Powell

57 year old, Kelly S. Powell, of Wheatfield, passed away April 2, 2019 at her home.

On November 11, 1961, in Frankfort, Indiana, Kelly was born to Len ‘Frank’ and Sarah ‘Sally’ (Taylor) Disney. Kelly worked at Schnick’s Good Eats for 10+ years, and loved to cook at home too! On September 22, 1990, she married the love of her life, Stevie Powell in Wheatfield, Indiana. Kelly was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and NHRA, National Hotrod Association.

Kelly is survived by her loving family: husband: Stevie, children: Nicole (Ryan) Shelley, Stacey (Chris) Hardy, & Katey Powell, grandchildren: Ryleigh, Creedence, Brody, & Tylar, and siblings: Thomas Disney, and Tamara (Robert) Delcourt.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Paul Disney.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 7:00 on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Kelly will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019 with Pastor Dave Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
