Kenneth M. Risner

72 year old, Kenneth M. Risner of Wheatfield, passed away April 23, 2012.

On June 4, 1939, Kenneth was born to Elza and Pearlie (nee: Spradling) Risner in Rensselaer, Indiana. Kenneth was a member of the National Guard, worked for Indiana General at Plant #1 for 29 years. Kenneth married Imogene “Jeannie” Steele on February 14, 1981 in Wheatfield, Indiana.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife: Imogene; children: Cynthia Ilene Risner and Ricky K. (Elise) Risner, and Barry (Lori) Sapp, Kristen (Christopher) Crooks, Tom (Krista) Sapp, 8 grandchildren, and Godfather to Mikie Lovely. Also surviving are sister: Lola Minor and brother: Max & Shirley Risner Sr.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, four brother and two sisters.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, with Terry Risner officiating. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rensselaer, Indiana.
