Lafayette Hammack

87 year old, Lafayette Hammack of Sumava Resorts, passed away August 3, 2012.

On October 28, 1924, Lafayette was born to Romey and Agnes L (Gunderson) Hammack in Columbus, North Dakota. Lafayette married Betty J. Tank, who preceded him. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 150 and the Eagles in Black Oak.

Lafayette is survived by his son: Terry Hammack (special friend Cheryl), 2 grandsons, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Lafayette was preceded in death by his parents: Romey & Agnes, wife: Betty, daughter-in-law: Susie and sister: Blanch.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Village Cemetery.
