Larry A Allen

Larry A. Allen, 72, passed away on January 9, 2026, at Franciscan Health Crown Point.

On January 18, 1953, Larry was born to Robert Allen and Renada (Williams) Becker, in Valparaiso, Indiana. He graduated from Twin Lakes High School, class of 1972. Larry married the love of his life, Pauline Williams, on October 20, 2001, in Roselawn, Indiana. He worked for Moore Trucking as a truck driver. Larry was an avid dirt track race track fan, car builder, and driver, who loved watching and helping his grandsons race. He enjoyed rooting for his favorite sports teams, such as the Chicago Cubs and IU Hoosiers. Larry enjoyed fishing with his brother, Rick.

Larry is survived by his loving wife: Pauline, children: Emily (Jason) Fuller, Heather Gard, Robert (Dawn) Gard III, grandchildren: Ashlynn, Kane, Kaleb, Draevin, Finn, great-grandchildren: Knox, Hayvn, and siblings: Vicki Nethercutt, and Rick (Denise) Allen.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and son: Ethan Allen.

Per Larry’s wishes cremation will take place.

Friends are invited to join the family from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. (EST), on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his brother Rick’s house, 12262 W. 1250 N, Monticello, IN 47960, for a Celebration of Life. Per Larry’s wishes, he hopes everyone comes together to enjoy good food, and enjoy some time on the water.
