Laura Mae Swart

93 year old, Laura Mae Swart, of DeMotte passed away March 21, 2018.

On July 9, 1924, Laura Mae was born to Nick and Johanna (Ooms) Swart in Highland, Indiana. Laura Mae graduated from Wheatfield High School class of 1941. She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of DeMotte. She worked at the ASCS Office and was the Librarian at St. Joseph’s College.

Laura Mae is survived by: sister: Wilma Rose Bultema, special cousin: Evelyn Coffer, and many nieces & nephews.

Laura Mae was preceded in death by her parents: Nick & Johanna, sisters: Evelyn Grace Zeldenrust and Ruth Harriet Swart.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at First Christian Reformed Church, DeMotte, Indiana. Services for Laura will take place at the church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Laryn Zoerhof officiating, interment will follow at the Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, Indiana.
