Lawrence W. Krepel

74 year old, Lawrence ‘Larry’ W. Krepel, of Fair Oaks, formerly of Maple Park, Illinois, and LaPorte, Indiana, passed away September 1, 2022.

Larry was born in Elgin, Illinois, to William A. and Viola (Marvin) Krepel, on July 26, 1948. He was a machinist/factory worker. He married Sandra Gradowski, on February 14, 2011, in Kane County, Illinois. Larry liked to play poker and often played in tournaments.

Larry is survived by his wife: Sandra, son: Gerald ‘Jerry’ Krepel, step-daughters: Christine (David) Pirlot, Judith (Pete) Matzaris, Sharon (Luis) Negron, Rachel McCrea, 15 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Sharon, infant grandson: Devin, siblings: 2 sisters and 1 brother.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
