Lenard Peters
72 year old, Lenard Peters of Knox, passed away August 31, 2015.
On May 8, 1943 in San Pierre, Indiana Lenard was born to Earl and Suzanne (Timko) Peters. He was a lifetime area resident. Lenard served as a U.S. Marine. He was a Millwright for the Local 1076.
Lenard is survived by his three children: Michelle (Rollin) Rock, Diane Bennett, Edward Ozga, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and special friend: Claudia Gardner.
Lenard was preceded in death by his son: Lenny Peters, 3 brothers: Merle, Babe & Richard, and 2 sisters: Ida Fanch and Vivian Cox.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Lenard will take place at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday at the funeral home with the Hospice Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the DeMotte Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
