Linnea Beth Wenglarz

49 year old, Linnea Beth Wenglarz, of Wheatfield, passed away January 13, 2023, with her loving family around her.

On August 1, 1973, in Harvey, Illinois, Linnea was born to Wesley and Judith (Ketelaar) Van Bruggen. Linnea graduated from Kankakee Valley High School. She married the love of her life, William J. Wenglarz, on April 16, 1994, at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church. Linnea worked for Ceres Solutions as an Administrative Assistant for over 20 years. She was an avid Cubs fan. She liked to go fishing every weekend. She had a garden she enjoyed, along with her flower beds. Linnea loved being a Mom & her family, and fur babies.

Linnea is survived by her loving family: husband: William, children: Haleigh (Kyle) Fischer, Hunter (Madison) Wenglarz, Tessa Wenglarz, fur babies, and grand-dogs, sisters: Vicki (Art) Van Kley, Wendy (Rob) Przybylski, mother: Judith Van Bruggen, Bill’s parents: William L. (Linda) Wenglarz, and Bill’s sister: Rhonda (George) Eldridge.

Linnea was preceded in death by her father: Wesley Van Bruggen, brother: Wesley John Van Bruggen, nephew: Nelson Wilder, and her grandparents.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VNA Hospice.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
