Lola Mae Johnson

90 year old, Lola Mae Johnson, of North Judson, passed away on December 30, 2025, with her loving family around her.

On August 13, 1935, Lola was born to Horrace and Amy Mae (Brooks) Dugan in Chicago, Illinois. She married the love of her life, Elwood Johnson, on October 27, 1962, in Wheaton, Illinois, who precedes her. Lola worked as a sales associate for Sears. She enjoyed to knit, and loved dogs.

Lola is survived by her daughters: Patricia (Gregory) Johnson, Kathleen Johnson, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Elwood, and brother: Hugh Dugan.

Per Lola’s wishes cremation will take place.

Lola will be laid to rest next to her husband, Elwood, at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois at a later date.
