Lonnie E. Bierman

60 year old, Lonnie E. Bierman of Rensselaer passed away January 31, 2014.

On November 17, 1953 in Calumet City, Illinois, Lonnie was born to Edwin Bierman & Leola (Nutt) Bierman-Werner. Lloyd Werner raised Lonnie after Edwin passed away. Lonnie was a truck driver before becoming a laborer for Local 41.

Lonnie is survived by his daughters: Michelle (Ron) Filson, Dawn (Bill) Knouff, and Julie (Eric) Baugh, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, special friend Loretta and her children: Joshua, Jacob, Adrianna. He is also survived by sisters: Alice & Gidget and brothers: Randy Bierman and Lloyd Werner Jr.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his wife: Diana, parents: Edwin Bierman, Lloyd & Leola Werner and brother: Bruce Bierman, father-in-law: Jim Eldridge.

Friends are invited visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. A gathering of friends will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle’s in Rensselaer, Indiana.
