Loretta Allseitz

85 year old, Loretta Allseitz, of Medaryville, passed away September 25, 2026.

On January 31, 1941, Loretta was born in Rensselaer, Indiana, to Truman Nelson and Rosa (Ellis) Nelson. She graduated from Wheatfield High School class of 1959. She married the love of her life, David E Allseitz, on November 20, 1962. She drove bus for West Central. Loretta was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 310, Medaryville, Indiana. She attended Tefft United Methodist Church.

Loretta is survived by her daughters: Gayla Allseitz and Karen (Daryl) Marlatt, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded by her husband: David, son: David Vance Allseitz, and siblings: Marlene Feiler, Marian Sheffer, Deavern Nelson, Truman Nelson Jr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. (CST-slow time or 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. EST-fast time) or on October 18, 2026 at the Tefft United Methodist Church, Tefft, Indiana. Services for Loretta will take place at 3:00 (CST-slow time or 4:00 p.m. EST-fast time) with Pastor Dave Patterson officiating.
