Mainous Hale Jr.

69 year old, Mainous Hale Jr., of Rensselaer, passed away October 26, 2022 at the Rensselaer Care Center.

On January 17, 1953, in Rensselaer, Mainous Jr., was born to Mainous Sr. and Geneva (Conley) Hale. Mainous was a short line cook, for several restaurant chains. He liked playing the guitar, panning for gold, spending time with his dog, Bella, and being around people.

Mainous is survived by his children: Vicky Noe, Main (Courtney) Hale, Jonathon Auble, Shaunna Hale, several grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, siblings: Jerry Hale and Lila Crowe.

Mainous was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Brenda Hale, siblings Carol McAleer, Dottie Hancock, and Bill Hale.

Graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Grace PCG, 23112 Harrison St., Shelby, Indiana 46377
