Mark D. McKim Sr.

54 year old, Mark D. McKim Sr. of DeMotte passed away May 20, 2017.

On January 11, 1963, in Valparaiso, Indiana Mark was born to Carl & Mildred (Huff) McKim-Hinkley. Mark married Roxanne Gilbert on July 7, 1990 in South Haven, Indiana. Mark worked for Brown Tire. Mark loved his family and he spoiled his grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his loving family: wife: Roxanne, children: Mark (Leann) McKim, Brandi (Garett H.) Clapp, Kristopher Hofferth, Scott and Melissa, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, mother: Mildred Hinkley, siblings: Pastor Tom (Gail) McKim, Brenda Chaney & John Lloyd, Susan Bailey, Peggy (Jim) Rayner, and Matt (Lori) McKim.

Mark was preceded in death by his father: Carl McKim, sisters: Jeanne McKim-Davis, and Judy McKim.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Mark will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom McKim officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
