Mark S. Stalhandske

67 year old, Mark S. Stalhandske, of Rensselaer, passed away August 29, 2023, at the Rensselaer Care Center, with his loving family around him.

On March 20, 1956, Mark was born to Carl and Alice (Critser) Stalhandske in Rensselaer, Indiana. He graduated from Rensselaer High School, class of 1976. Mark served in the U.S. Navy before marrying the love of his life, Katherine McFarland, on May 17, 1980, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Mark liked to ride motorcycles, was a member of the Goldwing Rider’s Association. He liked to go to resale shops and buy all sorts of stuff.

Mark is survived by his wife: Kathy, brothers: Gene Stalhandske, and Kevin Stalhandske, nieces: Jody (Alan) Snow, Dawn Platt, great-nieces & great-nephew: Brooklynne & Grace Snow, Logan Malone, and Amber Platt.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Ed, David, & Dennis Stalhandske, Nomai Flinn, and Jackie Wilson.

Per Mark’s wishes cremation will take place.
