76 year old, Marvin Lee Boyd, of Hebron, passed away January 4, 2009, with his loving family and special friend, Char Mak at his side.

On November 14, 1932, Marvin was born to Bill L. Boyd and Mary (nee: Howell) Boyd in Scottsburg, Indiana. Marvin was a Marine in the United states Marine Corp. Marvin was a farmer. He attended the Roselawn and Mt. Gilboa Methodist Church. He was a member of the Remington American Legion 280, the VFW Post 15015 and the F & A M 351 Remington.

Surviving are his children: Mike Boyd, Pat (Alice) Boyd, Linda Miller, and Perry (Lori) Boyd, special friend Char Mak, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren. Sister: Evelyn Swank, brothers: John Boyd and Ray (Brenda) Boyd.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Jesse, and 3 baby siblings.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home of Wheatfield with Pastor Delos Keene officiating. Interment will take place at the Mt. Gilboa Cemetery.

 

Memorials may be made to the Roselawn or Mt. Gilboa Methodist Church.
