Mary L. Anderson

78 year old, Mary L. Anderson, of Wheatfield, passed away May 26, 2024, at IU Health University, Indianapolis, with her loving family around her.

On July 7, 1945, Mary was born to Amos and Alvie (Bailey) Bailey, in Salyersville, Kentucky. She married the love of her life, Gordon Anderson on April 14, 1970, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Mary enjoyed being a housewife in her own home. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She really enjoyed going to garage sales, and country music concerts.

Mary is survived by her loving family: husband: Gordon, children: Kimberly (Harvey) Morse, Tammy (Carson) Huff, Jeffrey (Chantel) Anderson, Matt (Samm) Anderson, Sean (Elizabeth) Anderson, Leslie Anderson, 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and aunt: Betty (Norman) Patton.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Alvie & Amos Bailey, and grandson: Brett Anderson.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield. Services for Mary will take place Friday evening at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor James Rowe officiating.
