89 year old, Mary Lorene Lowe, of DeMotte, passed away April 1, 2020.

On October 21, 1930, Mary was born to Harold Eugene Adams and Minnie Lorene (Roadruck) Adams in Beaver Township, Newton County, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Robert Lowe Jr., on September 4, 1949. They owned Lowe’s TV for 20 years, and Robert worked for Northwest Indiana Telephone Company. Mary liked to crochet, bowl, do word searches, and watch birds, especially owls.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Mary Ann (Mark) Skaggs, & Susanne Greenman, granddaughters: Christine (Dom) Pham, Jennifer (Jeremy) Lindemer, & Katrina (William) Slosser, 6 great-grandchildren: Adam, Bradford, & Caleb Lindemer, Cassius & Alice Pham, and Morgan Slosser.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lowe Jr., and great-grandson: Ezekiel Slosser.

Per the country’s quarantine from the COVID-19 virus, private family graveside service will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Holland Cemetery with Pastor Ed van Wijk officiating.
