Melvin Fisher

67 year old, Melvin Fisher of Rensselaer passed away June 27, 2017 at his home with his loving family around him.

On December 24, 1949, in Kankakee, Illinois, Melvin was born to Herschel and Mary (Conrad) Fisher. On February 15, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada Melvin married the love of his life, Patricia Maruth. Melvin was a Rural Postal Carrier after being in the U.S. Army as Military Police with the rank of 2nd Lt.

Melvin is survived by his loving wife: Patricia, mother: Mary, sisters: Brenda (Jim) Whitlow and Pam (Duane) Nelson.

Melvin was preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

Per Melvin’s wishes cremation will take place and his ashes will be spread over the farm.
