Michael Wantola

41 year old, Michael Wantola, passed away at his home, on August 15, 2021.

On March 6, 1980, Michael was born to Leo and Vera (Krug) Wantola in Valparaiso, Indiana. Mike graduated from Kankakee Valley High School class of 1998. Mike was an operating engineer with the Local #150. Mike liked to hunt, trap, cut wood, and do landscaping.

Michael is survived by his mother: Vera, sons: Dillan & Wyatt Wantola, siblings: Matthew (Nora) Wantola, and Kathryn Wantola.

Michael was preceded in death by his father: Leo Wantola.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 (noon) on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Michael will take place at the funeral home at 12:00 (noon) on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Hauter officiating. Interment will follow at the Kouts Lutheran Cemetery.
