Nancy L Rickert

66 year old, Nancy L. Rickert, of Wheatfield, passed away August 7, 2022, as a result of an auto accident.

On March 13, 1956, Nancy was born to Joseph M. and Elizabeth J (Kantowicz) Starcevich in Hammond, Indiana. Nancy graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School. She worked at St. Joseph’s College as cook, janitorial, receptionist, and finally as an administration assistant. She married William Rickert, on March 22, 1975, in Crown Point, Indiana. Nancy loved cats and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchidren.

Nancy is survived by her children: Jeffery (Michelle) Rickert, Jenny (Russell) Price, and 4 grandchildren: Payten, Maverick, Noah and Evelynn.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and husband: William.

Per Nancy’s wishes cremation will take place.
