Nancy D Smoot

83 year old, Nancy D. Smoot, of Knox, passed away October 2, 2023, with her loving family around her.

On July 16, 1940, Nancy was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Alexander and Juliana (Dushatinski) Adamitis. Nancy enjoyed being a housewife, crocheting, gardening and her flower garden.

Nancy is survived by her children: Julie Smoot and Kenneth (Isabel) Smoot, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, siblings: Patty Long and Bill (Betty) Adams and her fur baby: Dixie whom she worried more about than herself.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Smoot, parents: Alexander and Juliana, and siblings: Elaine Angus, and Betty O’Born.

Per Nancy’s wishes cremation will take place.
