Nancy Young

Nancy Young, 55 years, of Lake Village passed away July 25, 2018 at her home with her loved ones around her.

On November 24, 1962, Nancy was born to Major and Mona (Campbell) Barnes in Gary, Indiana. Nancy had a degree in Advertising. She worked in the Advertising field, and as a floor inspector for Ford Motor Company. She attended the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Wheatfield.

Nancy is survived by her father: Major Barnes, sisters: Debra (Kent) Roe, and Kathy Barnes, and her faithful companions: Dixie, the Lab, Holly, Callie, Charlie, and Lilly her cats.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother: Mona Barnes, and husband: Rob Young.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, July 27, 2018, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of Wheatfield, with services taking place at 6:00 p.m. at the church with Pastors Ken Patrick and Craig Smith officiating. Graveside services for Nancy will take place on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastors Ken Patrick and Craig Smith at the Kankakee Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
