Neva Irene Hubbeling

94 year old, Neva Irene Hubbeling of Wheatfield/Kniman, passed away August 1, 2019.

On August 27, 1924, Neva was born to Wright ‘Sam’ and Jessie (Odle) Armstrong in Kniman, Indiana. She was a lifetime area resident. She married John Hubbeling on May 10, 1953. Neva worked for St. Joseph’s college. Neva loved to sew and especially loved to embroidery. Neva always had a fantastic garden which she canned the rewards from the family’s hard work. There were always chickens running around the yard too.

Neva is survived by her children: Rosemary (Joseph) Bacewic and John (Deb) Hubbeling, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Neva was preceded in death by her husband: John Hubbeling, son: David Hubbeling, 3 sisters: Betty, Tiny, & Thelma, 3 brothers: Pete, Basil, Duane.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Neva will take place at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019. Graveside services for Neva will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Memory Garden Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
