Neva 'Ruth' Mak

Neva ‘Ruth’ Mak, age 87, of DeMotte, Indiana passed away on February 25, 2017 at her home with her loving family around her.

Ruth was born to Orville ‘Shine’ and Jessie (Jones) Meyers in Wheatfield, Indiana on December 31, 1929. Ruth graduated from Wheatfield High School. She married the love of her life, Charles C. Mak, on July 6, 1952 in Leiters Ford, Indiana.

Ruth is survived by her loving family: Cynthia A. Mak-Martin, William (Carol) Mak, Brian (Joyce) Mak, and son-in-law: Ron Hoffman, 7 grandchildren: Tabatha (Joe) Chapman, Nycole (Kurt) Sinks, Sara (Travis) Bannon, Hayley Mak-Hoffman (fiancé: Justin Blignaut), Aaron Mak-Hoffman, Evan Mak-Hoffman, and Khristine Mak, 4 great-grandchildren: Wyatt & Quinn Chapman, and Adyson & Ryan Sinks, and sister: Mary Rockwell. Ruth is also survived by several nieces & nephews and cousins.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband: Charles C. Mak, daughter: Sally Mak-Hoffman, 2 sisters: Lila Hite and Lois Long.

Cremation will be handled by Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana with a private burial to follow.
