Nora J. Whitaker

79 year old, Nora J. Whitaker, of Wheatfield, passed away March 3, 2012 at her home with her loving family around her.

On December 27, 1932, Nora was born to Chester & Sallie (nee: Joseph) Miller, in Royalton, Kentucky. Nora graduated from Wheatfield High School and married Doug Whitaker on August 9, 1958, in Francesville, Indiana. Nora worked for Schuringa Egg Farm for many years. Nora was also a member of the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church.

Surviving are her loving husband: Doug Whitaker, children: Michael (Susan) Stark, Steve Stark, Jack (Colleen) Stark and David (Mary) Whitaker, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include: Forest Miller, Juanita Huff, Vernita Whitaker, Alice (Ron) Barnett, and Phyllis (George) Allen.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents, Chester & Sallie Miller.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St. Wheatfield. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church with Rev. Eveston Risner officiating. Interment will take place at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
