Norma L. Timpe-Wenal

93 year old, Norma L. Timpe-Wenal of DeMotte, passed away December 5, 2015.

On January 5, 1922 in Navoo, Alabama, Norma was born to William Henry and Ellie Clemintine (Pledger) Thomas. She was a member of the F.O.E., Merrillville PTA, Girl Scout Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Teacher, Foster Parent, and was on a Bowling League.

Norma is survived by her son: Richard (Barb) Timpe and grandson: Shawn (Joy) Timpe, 2 step-grandchildren, husbands: Ditty Davis, John Timpe, and William Wenal, and numerous nieces and nephews, especially nieces: Bev Laszlo, Debbie Carrol.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Norma will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry Owen officiating. Graveside services will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to P.E.T. Ministries or the Orak Shriners or Donor’s Choice.
