Patricia Hunter

84 year old, Patricia Hunter, of San Pierre, passed away on November 10, 2025.

On August 6, 1941, Patricia was born to Forrest and Eunice (Brown) Thomas, in Coldwater, Kansas. She graduated from Tefft High School, class of 1959. Pat married the love of her life, Larry Hunter, on December 10, 1960, in Malden, Indiana. She was a spectacular artist who created beautiful ceramics, and taught others out of her home. As a board member on the Indiana Bluebird Society, she gave educational talks to various clubs and school children. Pat and Larry maintained over 50 bluebird boxes on their property and Jasper Pulaski. Their efforts greatly increased the local bluebird population.

Pat is survived by her family, daughter: Tara (Kevin) Taylor, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings: David (Karen) Thomas, John (Lynn) Thomas, daughter-in-law: Roberta Hicks, and sister-in-law: Edna Thomas.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Larry, son: Kenton Hunter, sister: Marti Thomas, and brothers: Larry, Richard, James, and Paul.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, IN 46392. Services for Pat will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Robin Gear officiating. A graveside service for Pat will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Wheatfield, or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association- Samaritan's Purse.
