Paul Hopkins

71 year old, Paul Hopkins of Rensselaer passed away February 1, 2015 at his home.

On September 6, 1943, Paul was born to Hargus and Myrtle (nee: Allen) Hopkins in Salyersville, Kentucky. Paul was a Union Carpenter for Local 41.

Paul is survived by his daughters: Wanda (Bob) Kessler, Louise (Darrell) Alexander, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Tete ‘Silas’ (Emily) Hopkins, Beaulah (Jim) McEwan, Madge Williams, Daisy (Delbert) Craft, Wanita (Tony) Cotner, and half-sister: Mildred Walden.

Paul was preceded in death by Linda Hopkins, two sons: Rick Hopkins & Douglas Hopkins, three brothers, two – half-sisters, and three – half brothers.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Goodway Baptist Church, Medaryville. Services for Paul will take place on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. (EST) at the Goodway Baptist Church, with Rev. James Rowe officiating interment will follow in Independence Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
