Pete Loveland

Peter ‘Pete’ Loveland, 74 years, of Wheatfield, passed away July 25, 2018.

Peter was born on August 19, 1943, to Clarence William and Lucille Emily (Weimer) Loveland in Port Huron, Michigan.  Peter worked as a pharmacist for Hooks Drugs and Fagen Pharmacy for many years.  He married Jeannette Payne on April 1, 1970, who preceded him on December 17, 2006. Peter then married Joan Nance-Schipper   on May 1, 2010. Peter was an avid collector.

Peter is survived by his wife: Joan, son: John (Molly) Loveland, granddaughter: Mandolyn Loveland, sister: Pam Nims, step-children: Philip (Barbara) Schipper and Darla (Chris) Prentoski.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Jeannette.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Peter will take place at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the funeral home with Pastor Frank McClure officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jasper County Animal Shelter.

Per Peter’s wishes cremation will take place.
