Rev. Richard Lovely

82 year old, Rev. Richard Lovely, of Hardinsburg, Indiana formerly of Medaryville, passed away February 17, 2016.

On May 1, 1933 Richard was born in Waldo, Kentucky to Harrison and Ardie (Smith) Lovely. Richard worked as a railroad track worker for CSX transportation for 30+ years. He pastored and attended the Goodway Baptist Church.

Richard is survived by: Earlene Lovely, children: Clay (Kim) Lovely, Debbie  (Joe) Rushing, Rita (Rick) Brock, Chris & (Brandie Dury) Lovely, Harrison & (Peggy Williams) Lovely, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Mabel & Molly.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents: Harrison & Ardie, sons: Doug & Brian, grandsons: Rickey Lee Brock, Tyson & Brandon Wireman, Randy & Andy Lovely, brothers: Floyd, Clayton, & Ollie, sisters: Sarah & Dolly.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from10:00 until 12:00 (noon-EST) on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Goodway Baptist Church, Medaryville, Indiana. Services will take place at the church on Saturday at 12:00 (noon-EST) with Rev. James Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Goodway Baptist Church Cemetery.
