Rhea Andrews

71 year old, Rhea Andrew, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away February 2, 2024, at her home with her loving family around her.

On May 16, 1952, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Rhea was born to Earl and Betty (Hyde) Wise. She graduated from Hobart High School. Rhea married the love of her life, Bruce E. Andrew, on October 29, 1972, in Elisabethtown, Illinois. Rhea worked in housekeeping at Porter Memorial Hospital. Rhea and Bruce owned B & R Towing. Rhea like to work with 4-H horses, fishing, camping, and she especially liked to nag at her own children, telling them what they should and shouldn’t do. Rhea enjoyed going to the boats.

Rhea is survived by her children: Jason Andrew, Crystal (Paul) Raue, Carey Andrew, 3 grandchildren: Dillion Andrew, Paul Raue Jr., Lacey Andrew, sibilngs: Ronnie (Jane) Wise, and Richard Wise.

Rhea was preceded in death by her parents: Earl & Betty Wise, husband Bruce Andrew, and siblings: Robert Wise, Reggie Wise, and Randy Wise.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.
