Richard A. Carlberg

88 year old Richard A. Carlberg of Lowell passed away April 28, 2023.

Richard was born in Chicago, Illinois to Harold and Anna (Koska) Carlberg on October 6, 1934. Richard served in the US Army. He married the love of his life, Rosemary Manes, on January 13, 1962. Richard was a hardwire installer for ADT security for over 40 years. He never fully retired as he then worked at Flying J, and finally St. Edward’s church as their maintenance person. He loved being part of the church community and cherished the friendships he made there. He was an avid flea market goer, and was a collector of many treasures.

Richard is survived by his daughter Lynn (Gary) Florence and three grandchildren, Mitchell (Amanda) Florence, Baylee Florence, and Matthew Carlberg Jr.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary, his parents, his son, Matthew Carlberg, and sister, Doris Waterhouse.

His stories and vibrant personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Per Richard’s wishes cremation will take place.
