Richard Taylor

83 year old, Richard Taylor, of Buffalo, passed away June 29, 2023, with his loving family around him.

On August 12, 1939, in East Chicago, Indiana, Richard was born to Robert Clyde and Margaret Ann (Carroll) Taylor. Richard married the love of his life, Elizabeth Beard on February 1, 1969. Richard worked as an Electrical Repairman for LTV Steel. He was a woodworker, who enjoyed helping his neighbors make or build everything. He also like to fish.

Richard is survived by his son: William (Denise) Taylor, 8 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law: Gail Taylor.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth, daughter: Debi, siblings: Clyde, Patricia, Nancy, and Margaret Ann.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Richard will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Interment will follow at the Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, Indiana.
