Robert 'Bob' D. Gard Jr.

67 year old, Robert D. Gard Jr., of DeMotte, passed away February 7 2024, at his home, with his loving family around him.

On July 16, 1956, Bob was born to Robert Sr. and Sandra (Lowry) Gard, in Plymouth, Indiana. Bob was a member of the Local #697, where he worked in the Electrical/Mechanical shop. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, stock cars, going to Florida in the winter. His latest project is a 1932 Plymouth. He married Judy ‘Diane’ Hodson, on September 18, 2009, in Kankakee, Illinois.

Bob is survived by his loving family: wife: Diane, children: Robert (Dawn) Gard III, Heather (Dereck) Wireman, Juan (Tiffany) Martinez, Bridgette (John) Maneno, Charles Wireman, Anthony Martinez, 6 grandchildren, and sister: Tina Woudema.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law: Butch Woudema.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the Wheatfield American Legion Post #406, Wheatfield, Indiana.
