Robert Milbourn

78 year old, Robert N. Milbourn, of Wheatfield, passed away March 21, 2026.

On November 22, 1947, Robert was born to Glenn and Harriet (Whitaker) Milbourn in South Bend, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Margaret Kendziorowski on August 23, 1969 in South Bend, Indiana. Robert served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a millwright for Bethlehem Steel, and a member of the United Steelworkers of America Union. Robert spent his life working with his hands. He enjoyed leatherworking, gunsmithing, painting miniature chess pieces, photography, and building Legos. Robert also was one who like to be outside: going to truck and tractor pulls, skeet shooting, cowboy shoots, growing hops, and raising pigs and cows.

Robert is survived by his loving wife: Margaret Milbourn, children: Kathleen (Mike) Fritts, John (Giani) Herman, Donald (Dawn) Milbourn, Dewayne (Sandy Smith) Milbourn, Pamela (Ronald) Stewart, Jeff Milbourn, 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, brothers: Gary (Linda) Milbourn, Kenneth (Deborah) Milbourn, and daughters-in-law: Phyllis Milbourn, and Melissa Milbourn.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and grandsons: Justin W. S. Clark, and Donavan Milbourn.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. A Navy Funeral Honors service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and a Funeral Service to follow with Pastor Rick Helton officiating. Robert will be laid to rest at the Marion National Cemetery at a later date.
