Ronald Molenaar

59 year old, Ronald ‘Ron’ Molenaar, of Rensselaer, passed away June 22, 2021, at his home, with his loving family around him.

On March 7, 1962, Ron was born to Russell and Alma (Biggs) Molenaar, in Lafayette, Indiana. Ron went on to graduate from Rensselaer High School. He married the love of his life: Bonnie Gross on June 25, 2004, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Ron worked for the Laborers Local #41. He was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion Post # 29 Ron liked to hunt, fish, and spend time with countless friends and family.

Ron is survived by his wife: Bonnie, children: Buddy (Kati) Wicker, Carlos (Stacy) Wicker, Lance (Sandra) Crownover, Cody Molenaar, Colt (Janna) Molenaar, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, mother: Alma, and brother: Mike (Mary) Molenaar.

Ron was preceded in death by his father: Russell Molenaar.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Ron will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

As per Ron’s request cremation will follow.
