Roy Allen Mathis

Roy Allen Mathis, age 60 of Wheatfield Indiana, passed away on May 12th 2009 at Garner Arkansas.  He was born April 13th 1949 in Newport Arkansas to the late William Robert and Hazel (nee Grant) Mathis. He was a life long resident of Wheatfield, Indiana.  He attended Wheatfield School . Roy was a Boilermaker for C&C welding. Roy is survived by his beloved wife Gladys (nee Arispe) Roy and Gladys were married Nov. 18, 1982. He is survived by Brothers: Bob Mathis, Steve (Cindy) Mathis. Sisters: Betty (Charles) Green, Helen (Neil) Myers, and his 3 puppies. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Walt Mathis and his best friend Stoney Powell

Friends may call Sunday May 17th 2009 3pm-8pm at Kankakee Valley High School.

Funeral Service for Roy will be Monday May the 18th 2009 at 10am at Boersma Funeral Home.  Pastor Rick Helton officiating.  Interment Wheatfield Cemetery.
