Roy V. Weinmann

73 year old, Roy V. Weinmann of Medaryville passed away December 6, 2017.

On January 7, 1944, in Birmingham, Alabama, Roy was born to Robert Sr. and Vertie (Rork) Weinmann. Roy served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Roy married the love of his life, Carla Cruz on March 15, 1980 at the Flossmoor Community Church, Flossmoor, Illinois. Roy worked as a steel worker at LTV Steel. Roy was a member of the American Legion Post #96. He attended the Church of Christ and Ignited Ministries in DeMotte.

Roy is survived by his wife: Carla, daughter: Tina Criswell, grandchildren: Jason (Omayra) Brendel, Tim Brendel, and 3 great-grandchildren, and brother: Leonard (Denise) Weinmann and sister-in-law: Karen Weinmann.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Weinmann Jr. and Ted Weinmann.

Per Roy’s wishes cremation will take place.
