Roy Lee Williams Jr.

54 year old, Roy Lee Williams Jr., of Wheatfield, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2019.

He was born in Gary, Indiana to Roy Lee Williams Sr. and Dorsie (Beck) Williams on October 10, 1964. He worked as an industrial painter at J.L. Manta and C.L. Coatings. On July 23, 1990, Roy married the love of his life, Karen Pelfrey, in Elyria, Ohio. He was an outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife and kids. He was a member of IUPAT Local #33.

Roy is survived by his loving family: his wife: Karen, children: Jeremiah Williams, Amanda (Ben Lewis) Williams, Alex Williams, Roy Lee Williams III, sisters: Tammy Williams, Pat Marler, and his mother: Dorsie Williams.

Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Williams Sr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Westmorland officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.

Per Roy’s wishes, cremation will follow.
