Ruth Ann Oprisko

82 year old, Ruth Ann Oprisko, of Lowell, passed away April 11, 2026.

On December 5, 1943, in Deming, New Mexico, Ruth Ann was born to Thomas Denver and Mary Patricia Clayton. She was a meter technician for NIPSCO for 20+ years. She enjoyed singing in the choir at St. Mary’s and Our Lady of Grace.

Ruth Ann is survived by her son: Charles Oprisko, niece: Heather (Dave) Tokarz, and nephew: Steven (Jenn) McDermott.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Rose McDermott, and niece: Kathryn Tzitz.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, April 17, 2026, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, DeMotte, Indiana from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Father Michael McKinney officiating.

Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, on Friday at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
